Crossgate Bible Church is an interdenominational church located in Jones County, MS. We believe that God has a life design for you now and for eternity, and we are committed to helping people grow in their relationship with God through sound Bible teaching and corporate worship.
Our Statement of Faith
We believe that the Bible, as originally given to men through the prophets and apostles, is the inerrant and infallible Word of God (II Timothy 3:16). It provides revelation about the creation of the universe and all that exists within it, of humanity’s fall into sin, humanity’s need for and provision of salvation, and instructions for our standard of living, our earthly ministry, and our future reign with Christ. The earthly ministry of Christians generally involves sharing the good news about Jesus with others and also includes a struggle with an evil spiritual adversary called Satan (Ephesians 6:11-18, Revelation 12:7-12).

Our Pastor
After working most of his career in the publishing industry, Kevin Williamson was called to Christian ministry in 2013. He served in an associate pastor role under Reverend Kenneth Morgan at ROC Fellowship in Laurel, MS, for two years before accepting the pastorate at Moss First Church of God in Jasper County, MS. In June 2020 he and his wife, Rhonda, founded Crossgate Bible Church in Laurel, a non-denominational assembly that places strong emphasis on the inerrancy of the Bible. Kevin attended Jones College for two years before graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi.
